My Easy Day – This is one of those ‘drift away’ songs… where you are on a small boat heading down stream with the current, lost in a day dream and making no attempt to do anything else… it’s futile, go with the flow. It’s also the closest thing I’ve written that could be called ‘easy listening’. You know the stuff of Hollyridge Strings and Ray Conniff Singers… or, just shoot me now, it’s over.
